what you have to do is after u extract the individual bsp go to mpmapname(eg carousel) .scnr.meta (in Batch Extract, levels, test, mapname.)
Open it in a hex editior (best use Hex workshop 4.1 wich is somewhere on halo-mods.com) and go the the bottom, you will see a test area psbs
at the end of the s int psbs click and go back 16 bytes (press the left arrow 16 times) and on the number bit put 0008 0000
that means the offset for the start of map 0x800

I didn't want to say but im converting longest into the last part of AOCR, the one with the big piaramid & stuff. I just don't get it i did everything the tutoral said except i didn't do a PMI with it. I built the BSP block and all that stuff, i just don't get it!!! I de-craped the models bla bla bla. I need someone who has done a conversion before to help me

Me too. But I've been having similar problems on my second d40_terrain conversion, and I sure as hell did everything right. I've got my suspicions about the cause, I'll have to try again on the weekend.Voided wrote:Ok... dont stop, I'll like to see you all banned.you know how many things serch brings up 1,000s! Well I did it using Danger Canyon as the base map, it worked on my first conversion where I didn't PMI at all. But this time I tried to PMI the d40_skyofdoom and it wouldn't extract the raw model. So I did x10_sky instead, before realising it was the sky from the start scene of the game...so then I left it out. Still stuffed. So now I'll try each model one by one and see which one screws it, seeing as everything else (I think) is OK. Time consuming but worth it.Voided wrote:I know it has something to do with the sky...
