i was occasionally getting this prob. First, look around cuz this prob was addressed a TON following the release of HMT 3.5. I know ur prob doesnt have to do w/ 3.5 but check the dates and such and look around. One fix, for me, was to do a clean boot, kill all unnecessary background progs, and then start SE. give a try.

you are out of random access memort (RAM), AKA, you computer sucks...or needs a memory upgrade...either way...

First try Shuting down your computer to clear the RAM

If that doesnt work then press Ctrl, Alt, Delete and go to the Processes tab and close the unneeded programs that use a lot of memory. Dont close explorer.exe or System or System Idle Process

Alos make shure that you only have one user loged on at a time.

SparkEdit only uses 64 MB of memory to open a Map and Halo Uses 74 MB so if you can run halo then you should be able to run SparkEdit.
