I broke my xbox 360 hardrive

Hopefully ill fix it

ohh my god, I almost killed my xbox while fixing it

I have no words how the fuck it feels to almost have my special box die on me.

I got really anxious whenever I worked on my Xbox. It was really strange, because I had no problems with messing around with my computer, and doing crap to it that could kill it, but when I was soldering wires on my Xbox, I got really twitchy about it.

Well at days end here is what happened. Long Read

I connected my retail drive to my dev to take some files out, put it on my retail and it starts messing up, so I back it up using the same method, then since its easier to format it using the dev, I do it, and my recovery disk ended up being dirty and error ed in the middle of the update , 2 things happened

1. My dev was on a e79 not booting the dashboard or even the startup animation. I was just about crying around this time

2. My hardrive got some damaged sectors, I try putting it on the retail and dev non of them booted the dashboard with it.

Ended up being that I cleaned out the recovery disk and ran it with the dev and it worked... Booted normal into the dash, the hard drive I put it in my PC tried with xport to see if it got recognized (and it didn't even apear on windows) I boot hirens tools and check it with seatools and it said bad sectors on this drive, I attempt to fix it, after that failed, it wont be recognized by any recovery app, and now it will e68 any console you put the hdd into...

Now I have 2 consoles and no hardrive on either one of them, well fuck me

Any suggestions please?

Cause... its expensive and pretty useless

Right now im prety low on money, im lending a friend some money so I can't really buy a hardrive right now. I was wondering if anyone had any more technical suggestions

When I simply pick up my Xbox I get anxious because it makes that "SPROING" sound which is basically saying "WACH OTU I G0N SPLOD"
