halo 2 not working

i got a new xbox (origional) and i soft modded it usu=ing splinter cell and then i put in halo 2 and it didn't recognise it. It just had a whole bunch of #'s and letters. i went to setttings and then misc. then i went to burn game and it said error. i decided to try and launch the game and it just put me in file explorer and showed that there was nothing on the D drive. i tried another disk and that one worked. What is wrong with it can someone help. and if it helps i used it on a 360 earlier

um, If you have the game on your computer just make a folder no your xbox in the E folder called "games" and put halo 2 in there so it looks like this

default.xbe
bink
maps
media

it wont burn it and it wont recognise it

or do none of your discs work on your new, soft-modded xbox?

ftp to your xbox, there are a bunch of tuts at xbox-scene.com on how to do this.

only halo 2 doesn't work but it worked on my 360 and old xbox
(i dont need tuts for anything i already know how to do like everything whith xbox modding)

Did it work before the softmod? It could be the dvd drive at fault maybe the disc is a bit battered but on your other xbox it was a better dvd drive so it managed,
failing that I'd extract the stuff you want on your other xb ftp to pc and then ftp back to new xbox

it broke but i had a warrenty so now i got a new one and it works

hey men, if you have the Unleash X Xbox Launcher, go to Sistem => Misc => Copy DVD to HD, H2 really needs a lot of free space (4.2 GB) when finished, go to Explorer and in E:/Games/Halo2/...

bink (you can delete this folder)
maps (don't delete this folder)
media (DON'T DELETE THIS FOLDER, or "The Black Screen of Death!!!")
default.xbe (its the game launcher, logic, don't delete this)
default.bak too important.

IN bink...
if you want delete all files in the bink folder.
IN maps:

Fonts (folder)
ALL FONTS, DON'T DELETE THE FONTS or "The Black Screen of Death!!!".
all your campaign maps an multiplayer.map
single_player_shared.map (the name says all, its needed if you want play coop in campaing)
shared.map (its for multiplayer)
mainmenu.map (its the mainmenu lol, if you delete it, you will view "The Black Screen of Death!!!" there's a problem with the disc you're using, it may de dirty or damaged.)

WHEN YOU FINISH, RESTART YOUR XBOX AND TEST.
