i must use the mask while sleeping for the rest of my life im nearly 20 years old the average natural human life is around 70-80 years think about it next time you feel like ranting about how school sucks....
With all honesty, that is horrible, I really feel bad for you.
I feel people under appreciate life. Every day I wake up, and feel happy that I'm not dead. I'm happy that my body is still functioning and nothing has failed in the huge liquid and organ sack that is me. I'm terrified of dieing. I love life. What happens once you die? I mean it would just be like either heaven or game over... Nothing. No thoughts, no nothing. People's organs fail every day and they die, what happens to them? I don't know. I just hope there is a heaven.
I'm happy to be able to see, to move, to talk, to feel, to experiment with different things.
Life is just too extraordinary.
So I guess thats my only fear.
Rant:
People under appreciating their life that they don't notice is so amazing and beautiful.

Let's all stop thinking something's bad because of someone else's problems. Have you ever complained about something? Well, you shouldn't, because think about all of the people who lost family members on September 11th, all of the starving and dying people in the world, and everyone dying and losing family members in wars around the world.noscottno wrote:He just said to stop copmlaining about little things, and now you're complaining that you're wet.
You're an idiot.
That's my rant...even though someone has something bad happen to them, and I DO feel for you warlord, even though I can't imagine what that can be like, we can't suddenly stop feeling bad about things happening to us, because someone ALWAYS has it worse than you.

That's my point.-DeToX- wrote:Yeah but that doesn't mean we shouldn't feel bad for ourselves once in a while. But if its constant, thats a problem.
My rant is my friend getting to drive his friend's WRX STI to and from school today. ;_;
Then he had the nerve to shift and make his blowoff valve go off right past me.

little soggy when i got to the dance. oh well there's worse things in the world then losing the 5 bucks you worked 3 weeks for.

thanks for the sig dagger12 ill give you something someday, maybe.
Detox i think i know what you mean about death and if what happened when my ilness hit its pinnicle about 6 years ago is anything to go by i dont think your answer is one you would like.
my personal opinion is when you die your body shuts down and because your brain stops getting bloody slowly goes into a deep sleep which you dont wake from after that no thoughts no dreams no feeling nothing.
That is my opinion on what death is like.
ive learned alot about un-discussed things like freewill and such from my ilness my entire childhood had been a bit of a nightmare when i was 8 my grandfather died of lung cancer then when i was 12 my grandmother died also from cancer but another type then when i was 14 i nearly died myself from a completly differnt illness.and people wonder why i have such a bizzare perspective of life.

Hoo boy, time to get philosophical. Be warned, I woke up a while ago, and I might make a completely stupid sounding reply.warlord wrote:Detox i think i know what you mean about death and if what happened when my ilness hit its pinnicle about 6 years ago is anything to go by i dont think your answer is one you would like.

The idea of "death" that makes the most sense to me is the idea of reincarnation...but not in the sense that you're doing it to improve on your previous life. It's just that, when you stop existing, I don't think you can just go into a "sleep" state. You (in the loose, non body-binding term of that) will be alive through someone else. You'll just live a different life, exactly the way you're living right now...because think about it. Everyone has to be having the same basic concept of life like you are. They think, they sleep, they have feelings in the same basic way as everyone else, and they have a conscience. Now, someone has to FEEL that conscience, and it comes down to me believing that the instant you're dead, with no hope of resuscitation, "you" start feeling the life of someone else who is born at that exact instant. You're just BEING them.
Now there's a bunch of flaws in this philosophy, yes. Ideally it would turn out that we have a perfectly balancing birth and death rate, but we don't, so for it to be true, you'd probably include other life forms, possibly unknown ones to us yet even. That's as close as you'll ever find me to religion...and it just makes sense to me, because you're always having the experience of life...so who's to say that you (although not still your same immortal soul [the only way I can really describe it]) can't live as someone else?
Just my $0.22 (adjusted for post WW2 inflation).
