Ooooh man, this game's looking pretty damn awesome...gotta love uppercutting someone's head off with a giant scythe right after you just cut some other dude in half. Anyone else going to be picking this one up?

Was that the wraith boost sound when he leaped into the air? Haha.

Man I never played the first one but I might pick this up.

Looks pretty cool to me.

Hehe, Pyro, that sounds just like the wraith boost.

And not to criticize their work or nothing...But if anybody has played Dead Rising and used the Samari sword...they would know that it sounds EXACTLY like what it sounds like when he is using his scythe thing.

I am super cereal.

Still like the gore. (No pun intended)

They haven't really released much information outside of the teaser trailer (which is just the opening cinematic of this video), and the gameplay in this video. And of course, a few miscellaneous screenshots.

This game sucks. I think it needs more gore. Make it like Gears. Yeah. Put some guns in there too. Needs some headshots with brains flying out. In fact, just put Gears in the case and I'll have a fanboy nerdgasm on it. More blood n' shit, hell yeah. GEARS RULES!

I don't know either.

shadowkhas, this is a game about a ninja doing all sorts of ridiculous stuff, shooting giant fireballs out of nothing, and you're criticizing the blood? >_<
But really, it's not going for some realistic look, they aren't trying to blow you away with the graphics. The graphics aren't all that improved from the first game on the Xbox, but that's not its selling point. It's a great game, not a great looking game.

@Tural

Personally I thought the game had beautiful graphics, I was blown away. The gameplay was really great aswell.

I don't really think it's fair to say there not trying to stun you with the graphics.

The first game was probably my favourite game ever.

I beat NG on every difficulty. I essentially devoted weeks of play time to that game.

Bit of a bump, but bleh.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/user ... 47556.html

New video...4 minutes worth of gameplay, including the old favorite, the Izuna Drop (which now makes their head explode on impact, awesome)...and a bit of what looks like a boss battle. Also, sweet sword combo thing. Good stuff.

Eh, not my type of game. It just looks really dull and repetitive. The level in the first one really doesn't seem all that in-depth, just looks like one badass dude running around doing badass moves to random creatures that randomly spawn out of mid-air. i.e. a button mashing game.

But that's just me. I have a serious dislike for this type of game. Assassin's Creed is ok, that one still involves the button-mashing-like gameplay that I dislike, but the other parts of the game make up for it. From what I saw from the movies on this game, there are no other parts.

I couldn't say it better myself. Don't get me wrong, it could be a good game. But I can't say how I like a game by just seeing a teasing trailor of it.

with regret,

Button mashing only gets you so far in Ninja gaiden (played the first one?).

This one however, does look easier than the first, but regardless I'm still looking forward to it :D

It's not so much that you're not actually supposed to button mash, it's just that sort of game.

Apparently there are these things called "combos" are supposed to make these types of games better.
