First, this is in the wrong section.
Anyway, on topic.

That's DotHalo. It's what I started out with when i first started modding Halo 2. Many people will recommend Entity, but when I started out and i looked at Entity i was like wtf. So, I'd say start out with DotHalo, and when you understand h2 modding a little better, move on to Entity.
Anyway, on topic.

Wrong section, are you mad? This is modding discussion about Halo 2, and thats what he's asking. He's asking if theres a program for modding Halo 2 thats similar to a Halo 1 modding APP.Aumaan Anubis wrote:First, this is in the wrong section.

Wasn't there a project like this a while ago called prometheus or something?

Kudos charts:
shadowkhas has: 15. DarkShallFall has: 70. ScottyGEE has: 60. Tural has: 25.
It's still going on I think, To my knowledge its not fully released yet, I think just beta testing has been done.Senor_Grunt wrote:Wasn't there a project like this a while ago called prometheus or something?

Thats their prometheus updates page, hasn't been updated recently, but it does look amazing still.

Either way, Dothalo is in no way like Sparkedit. If you are looking for a visual editor, your best bet would be to snatch up Entity. It allows you to move object placements. You can not duplicate or delete any items from the scenario via the bsp viewer like Sparkedit allows. You have to do that manually by editing the scenario tag itself.
