Help With CE

Im having some trouble running Halo CE. I tried to host a game over the lan, and it says that i failed to join the game. I downloaded a Strings.dll file that helped CE with the SP2, but that didnt fix it. Does anyone have a clue on whats wrong and how to fix it, besides re-downloading? Thanks.

sorry about the double post but it wouldnt let me edit the last one. i tried re-downloading CE and it still says "Failed to join game" when i try to host over LAN or internet. Can anyone please help?

if anything, run "dxdiag" and see if there's any error.
