last frontier has NOTHING to do with converting single player to multiplayer. just take a look at all other halo map packs and notice they atleast have one common theme, the name has something to do with halo. last frontier makes me think it's a star trek conversion. too bad this is vaporware anyways. also how were you planning on doing this 90% of the people here have soft mods and will not be able to fit this on there hard drive, are you going to make an ISO for it? this idea was doomed from the start, it's going to be many more months until all the maps are done. you tried too soon.

wow ok dude, just please stop if all your going to do is flame. I suggested a name and you snapped at me. You obviously haven't read any other topics/posts regarding this mappack have you? Please read them before jumping to any conclusions.

and softmodded xbox has nothing to do with this. You can get a new hardrive for a sofmodded xbox.

And so how does Frontline Expansion not have to do with a MAP PACK (which is basically what this conversion thing is going to be...)

Map Pack = Expansion

Expansion = Map Pack

i was never trying to argue this guy just couldnt take it that his idea sucked. i was also trying to help you out with suggesting that rather than listening to the poll and giving it a goofy name you should go with something more practical that describes it. H2C map pack is short and to the point and easily abbreviated.

I really think these last few posts should just be deleted seeing as how they're just us flaming each other...

Oh and a name isn't to describe it -- thats what a description is for.
The name should be something that people automatically associate with a BSP conversion map pack.
It does not have to relate at all to what it IS though, only be unique and recognizable.
I mean mimesis is to downloadable content as Frontline Expansion is to a BSP Conversion Map Pack...

Frontline Expansion has some reason to it.

Frontline means that players are taking the multiplayer battle farther, to the frontlines of SP.

Expansion is pretty obvious.

I'm just sick of all thes H2 or H1 something names that I cannot tell apart on my xbox, like the NMP (New Map Pack) or Halo Maps, including thier different versions or Allied or Killtrocity.

Somthing like H2SP might be good, but it could just as well be Halo 2 Super Pack or Halo 2 Sniper Pack, get where I'm going?

BTW, whoever keeps bringing up the witty vapoware remark, if people don't have the space then they don't have to get it. There is always the option of a disc burn or I know damn well you can put more space in a softmod (Look at my 320 gig).

And guys, please cool it with the name war. This really needs to be worked on instead of these stupid fights.
