when you save it dont save as but just "save"
then a window will come up and in the top left of that window it will say:
like dxt1 or dxt3 whatever
i think u have to make a small change to save as or is that regular save?
but if u open HMT over the bitmpa it will say DXT1 or 2,3 and u have to make it wut it says there
if it doesnt work then duplicate the background layers and save as so the file is bigger and then it should work

fuck you guys are stupid all you have to do in photoshop is go "save as"
then pick where you wnat to save it and shit then this window will pop up for the .dds thing. In the yop left corner it says dxt 1 or something with a drop down box. In the drop down box select the proper dxt(same one as above the thumb nail in HMT). And you want to make sure that in the middle of the pop up thing that you want to select generate mipmaps. Then click save. then you can go and inject it into the game. If it says if it is ok to update the size just say yes and it should work.

WTF are you talking about?
Go through what you did and I will tell you what's wrong. I strongly doubt it's the paint bucket. If you have layers it won't save as dds. If it says either "Must be dxt1" or "Must be dxt2 or 3" check ABOVE the thumbnail in HMT and it says the type it needs to be. If it's the warthog it needs to be dxt1.
