I made a new sig before you mentioned it Stalking, thanks anyway though. :)

On-topic (for once): I'm not having any problems with the apps, so just make sure you're following the tutorial properly.

my question is why is it so hard and takes so long just to open a campaign map? its makes my computer more laggy and harder to do the next steps.

Oh, and btw, for everyone that was asking questions about RAM and stuff like that - here are my stats

Processor - 3.0ghz w/HT Pentium 4
RAM - 1.0 GB Shared DDR
GFX Card - 256 MB Nvidia

^And every modding app works perfect on my computer with no lag. I was rebuilding and decompiling 2 maps while listening to music and checking halomods with no lag ... so ya.^

this worked fine for me on my first try(my only problem was i misplaced my spawns)

it is very a very simple consept.
extract your MP map then extract the new bsp and lightmap
then open you MP map and change the bsp by finding the tag on you computer
then rebuild

this is wut I did(followed the tutorial) thanks you sooo much Poke and Anthony and anyother that may have contributed. I've been working on a map for space station since page one and I was wondering if anyone found a way to make the "bloc" appear.

All was fine untill I was rebuilding the map. I got an exception at
Processing C:\Tags\H2\sound\sound_mix.sound_mix...

can i just go on and add the spawns, sign, and ftp?

you guys that is an error with your computer, maybe your virtual memory is low, or maybe you didn't see in the tutorial were it said about the virtual memory. I followed the tutorial and it takes me 1-2 minutes to rebuild. this all works so any errors and other strange things is a computer error.
maybe try restarting your pc before rebuilding? to clear your virtual memory?

I had to leave my computer on overnight to let it finish rebuilding that new bsp mod I did. Good thing it worked or I would of been pissed. Guess it's time to finally upgrade my comp. parts.

Damn, if rebuilding took that long. How on earth did you use the bsp viewer in entity with the map? I would assume it lagged like a mo. I had to make my bsp viewer window a bit smaller than a full window so it wouldn't lag as bad. Though either way I can get the job done...i'm just wondering how man? lol

Ok,heres an idea:

Anyone that got it to work, post a patch for the conversion.
DONT close the map because alot of people cant get this to work and want to do some new BSPs.
Id give credit if I released a mod off of one of your patches 8)
