I think the original line was "The Chieftain must complete his holy work", but I may be wrong.

Yeah I purposely left out "must." Because the animation is showing a sign of being at ease(SP?).

"Complete" made sense to me the way I used it there. Guess I'll change it sooner or later.

Oh and incase anyone couldnt tell,I made the blue text for what ever the subject of the wallpaper is.

Updated ground texture and a slight bump map change. Remeber, this is only for the ground, not for the now unmatching cliffs and the pillar in the backround. Leave feedback please :P

The lighting looks like a map that would have an overcast sky and possibly light wintery fog.

The yellow tinted snow (from the lighting) contrasts with the bluey or grey looking cliff...That still needs work...

But the rest of it looks pretty nice!

that and the thing in the ground is still glowing :D Shader swap tiem!

i'm gonna be honest with you, where the "snow" hits the cliffside they don't blend AT ALL it looks bad, real bad. the base textures make them look like sand castles now. i think what you had before was better. revert.

I think it looks fine as it is. They're two completely different textures: one is snow, the other is rock. By saying they don't blend well is like saying it is impossible for it to snow on rocks that don't look like snow. Snow really doesn't care where it falls (for those of you who have little experience with snow) and will often fall on "un-matching" surfaces.

I would imagine that perhaps the real issue is something entirely different. I believe the underlying issue is r0tten once again wants to point out the negative and will do anything he can to defend it. I suggest to all that when r0tten posts, just breeze on past as if it weren't even there. That would save everybody, including r0tten, a whole lot of troubles having to deal with a pointless verbal debate.

I just got up, so if it doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll fix it when I wake up all the way.

seriously when snow falls on something it's not going to fall in jagged lines hence it doesnt blend, you can say the solution is "ignore me" or you can come up with an intelligent retort that actually makes sense. now if the snow could gradually fade into the rock as if it didnt fall as heavy on one spot as it did another because it was a cliffside that would be great, but it cant so another answer would be to blend the two colors then give them different bump maps so they don't look quite the same, it would give it better flow. if that doesnt make sense to you well.....you're just not too bright.
