Psychotic Photoshopping

Post by theycallmechad »

Ah, This is a crazy one. I had fun making it, even if it's not the prettiest thing out there.
Like it or hate it, I don't care.

Give the high-res version a chance.

Whoa, hurts my eyes to look at the high-res one, but it's still neat.

Only one comment: TCMC, you love this type of art (filters) don't you? :P

I wouldn't call it art, but I do like playing around with Filters, layer blending, and geometry. I start out with a simple geometric shape (I use guides to make them), blend multiple layers of the same shape (each shape at a different angle), and hit them up with a couple of filters. What you see is the result of 3 filters (chrome, wind, and Polar Cordinates). It's mostly just blending settings.

Yeah, I don't necessarily like what I do, but I think they look crazy enough to show people.

Yeah, I was just told by somebody else that the 2000x2000 is too big for most peoples' screen. I'm running 1600x1224 on my screen at the moment, so it looks pretty good. I'll think about posting a smaller version, if anybody cares. For those who may care, what size would you like?
