O Snap, SON! What is that? Another gun? Yup! 2 skins? Yup!

Some people prefer matte black, some prefer nickel plated. This is a W.I.P. I have yet to do the dot pattern on the grip, and also some work on the bullets (because they look like crap to me) and a few other things. Long story short, work in progress.

Maybe you all see where this is going? Hm?

The black skin is undercontrasted, and the lighting consistency doesn't look.. right. Doesn't look as good as your mac skin. Good effort though.

not really undercontrasted. matte black will NOT give anything close to a white highlight unless under flash photography (and maybe not even then). the lighting consistency stops at the inside of the trigger gaurd. everything else is lit correctly. i still have work to do on the skins, as i said. o, btw, magnum needs a pro animator.

You modeled the magnum? Looks great.

As for the skin, matte black is too dark and doesn't look good on a revolver, and nickel plated is too bright unless it's just bad lighting.
One way or the other, something halfway between the sheen of the nickel-plated and the uzi silencer would probably be your best bet.

thanks for all the positive feedback, guys. unfortunately, my laptop charger recently took it's last breath, so my laptop (and thus my fun applications) are not available to me at the moment. when i get it up and running again, i'll be sure to work on it some more.
