Crashed pelicans will be placed all over the map. (I need a good story guys). trees will be scattered everywhere. most likely dead trees. new skin. new weapons.
yep will do and they dont roll im just putting them in various positions so it doesnt all look the same. probably about 15 pelicans all around the map with bunches of trees maybe some of those red emergency lights and fire.
The Humans had to abandon ship when they were assaulted by covenant Assault Carriers. Pelicans and LifeBoats launched to escape the defeated vessel, unfortuneitly Some Pelicans couldnt make it through the Atmosphere and enemy fire. This is their final resting place.
Something like that. Then just have half of a Frigrate (IAC) or a Crusier (POA) sticking out in the distance outside the map. Then put some frag grenade exploding effects around that ship.

No the Albatross on Relic is BSP scenery so you wont be able to use that.
Maybe only one Pelican on each side.
If you can get the LifeBoat model from Halo1 maybe you could have those fly by the top of the map with smoke trailing just like in the Halo level in the first halo.
the reason the pelicans look all sideways and bent is because its really hard to place them. in entity they show up invisible with a box outline. if you face it one direction its really the other direction and its higher than it shows in entity so if i put the pelican on the ground it would really be 8 feet in the air or something...

Use Darkmatter. I has perfect BSP placement and you actually see the Pelican model. Same for the Scarab. I wonder why Entity can't make those models viewable..

Thats what I said, place a Frigrate Outside the map or the Crusier. (The other ship that resembles the POA, actually the nub that named the tags at bungie still called it POA, guess they leave the specific names to Joe Staten )
