Redo the pistol grip and add a mag and trigger group.

Ok, the smoothing is nice, but there is still an error in the handle. (To GTAF, thats a handle, not a bridge-like-thingey.

) And the grip is waaay to boxy. There is no trigger. And make sure when you start the clip, it looks good. Making the slight curve is especially essential because that is why the weapon is not used in the military. And also could you make the compact carbine variant? That would be AWESOME!!

You have to hold one to know. But it is where you hold it, unless you are actually using it.

and i'm sure you've held a us army weapon issued only to certain troops for testing purposes. airsoft doesn't count. the entire production of the OICW was suspended because of issues with the requirements and what they want to replace the m16/m4 family. i don't know what you're talking about a "curved sight" but yea flux that's where the carry handle is. it's not really used unless you're not in combat and just carrying it usualy that's where it's held, or would be but i don't believe the m8 will replace the m16/m4 family.

it's lookin better but here are some issues still.
there is no sight adjustment on the top of the scope. scope itself is off. handle is to boxy. missing the cocking mechanism. the grip is more like a part of the gun. barrel is a bit to small. the rear of the stock is a little to boxy. there are some messy edges on the front and carry handle of the gun. still needs magazine, trigger, and trigger gaurd. fix up those things but it's comin along good for beeing new to modeling.

If anyone wants it I really dont care if you use it inyour mod as long as credit is given. I dont think i can export it as .object but theres other formats i can save to.

Caboose, When did I ever say I held one? I said its something you learn when/if you ever hold one. I never said, "I have held one before and I know that thats where it is held". I was saying that in general, for all weapons, you have to actually feel it yourself before you can judge what is wierd about it. I am a fan of airsofting myself, and I have used it as an airsoft because a friend of mine has one. But thats not where I am telling this from. I DO have an M-4 Carbine, so I DO know about weapons and how they are handled.
