1) People still report plenty of posts.
2) To be honest, I'm with you on some points...I have no idea why Tural, Ketchup and I were promoted.

So if we find people who we personally think would be good moderators, but they report alot of posts, we shouldn't promote them?

I don't see why they would make good moderators. I could think of way better people that would make good moderators before them.

"Way better people" As in people who can enforce the rules to a higher quality? Or just people you like more?

Excal, would that have anything to do with being Editors, where the work was far too much, and nobody did anything? H2PLAYER116, the three of us don't mod. In fact, a majority of the staff doesn't mod.

I don't mod...and I don't think Ketchup and/or Tural have recently released any mods. (Besides Tural's shell scenario editor...which wasn't really too recent)

I'm personally glad people who make "good" mods don't get power...

Some people who make good mods probably wouldnt make good moderators because they aren't responsible and would prbably make biased decisions...
Eg..."that guy flamed my mod...I will delete his post"
"I will sticky my own mod or my friend's mod"

Obviously people who can enforce the rules better. I don't know what made you think "way better people" translated to people I like more.

Excal, if it relaxes you anymore, I actually was not in the top ten reporters.

I think I was around 22nd. So, there were other factors than just a mass amount of reports.

Please expand upon that. We're not enforcing the rules well enough?

I don't think the top three posters being promoted was a good idea, because it may encourage people to spam and post as they may think with a higher post count they stand a better chance of promotion...

But, I do agree that Tural, Ketch and Gametag are doing a great job, all the problems I've found have been sorted quickly... so good job guys, in particular Tural, as you on here around the clock keeping the peace.

I highly doubt anyone would think that, and anyone who would probably wouldn't know how to check post counts.

hmm, possibly. Just IMO some people could possibly see it as a reward for a high post count... but as you said people who think that probably wouldn't know how to check post counts. Touche.

Well seeing as you've been a moderator for a few days... I really can't question how well you will handle it. But I do know someone who'd make a better moderator than all of you combined... and I think you know who I'm talking about. He could hold the place down by himself.
