.dds main menu pic

So I went to Citadel Mod by headshotmasta and I patched so I wanted to add it to my mainmenu. If u scroll down on that page there is a main menu preview pic. so I saved the pic but when i went to apply it to my main menu but I noticed it wass saved as .gif.

Do I have to get soem image plugin thingy? Which One?

do you have photoshop?

I used to have photoshop but now I have a laptop and i have't finished tranfereing everyting from my desktop.

So I get the .dds plugin 4 photoshop and convert it?

the .dds plugin i have (unfortunately, i forgot where i got it) lets me open the .dds and then edit it how i like then re-save it as a .dds
