Is there anyway to play Xbox Live on a SoftModded Xbox (No halo modding) w/o getting banned?

xbox connect is a good alternative if you can't get to live.

No I mean i'm going to get XBL, but i'm worried since I have a softmodded xbox.. will Bungie ban me?

Umm I think if you have modded maps on your xbox then yes they will ban you, BUT IM NOT SURE! But if you want to keep your mods on while playing, get xbox connect instead, its free. And I dont mean for cheating, I mean just for maybe playing them with some homeeezzz.

You can play online with a softmodded xbox as long as all of your maps currently on the xbox are 100% original bungie crop. Otherwise, one little change in any of the maps and no more matchmaking. But yes, as long as you replace your original maps before signing onto Xbox LIVE, then you will not get banned from matchmaking.

The only way to play on Live with a softmodded Xbox is by placing the game in the drive, and cold booting. That is, put the game in, turn the Xbox off, and turn it back on. This way, it will boot straight to the game, it won't get to booting the exploit, and it won't be detected by Live.
