oh, i see, make the .dds opacity lik 50%, then make the skin whichever color you want (i think, ive never really done that before)

that pic looks like a shader swap
and not all use alpha channel [ which is what is used to set transperancy]
and most weapons ones doent have it cuase the bitmap has to be saved in a diff format and have a diff shader type
