I see. It is still incredible work, have you managed to move the drivers seat like 10 feet out and see if he sits in a random place and drives as if he was in the drivers seat? That'd be kinda funny. :P

Or maybe you could move some Pelican passenger seats and have the characters sit on the wings.
Hmm I think you can still do that..moving the cords of mode or something for seats.. i cant remember

Actually... one thing that's fun is moving the entrance from the actual sit point. It turns out that they're 2 separate markers. You can make it so that it says "Press X to enter turret" when you stand behind the warthog, then it does the animation and puts you where the turret actually is.

And yes, you can move anything like that. You can move the attachment positions for anything... pretty much anything that determines a point and/or rotation on a model.

Edit: I took a quick video of it.

Not in that pose.
A charge, or pounce would. Or maybe a war cry.
But not crouching.

Voltage and Johnny they look real nice...
I find the gold elite looks really kool although it does not show elegance like you said, maybe if it was something like what Veegie said.

Elites look different to the halo2 variation...I cant decide which looks better...h1 look more ferocious

Don't worry about it. I will save you the trouble.

How to add weapons to empty bipd's:

1. Open Insolence or Entity

2. Open mainmenu.map and any multiplayer map.

3. Go to the mainmenu.map [bipd] tag

4. Drag the Elite and/or Spartan to the multiplayer map

5. Set an [itmc] for the [bipd] (or change to a plasma pistol projedctile)

6. Resign, ftp, and start the game

0. You can also go into the new [bipd] dependencies and change the [weap] dependency in the [bipd] tag and chagne it to any weapon.

There may be an easier way, but thats the way i figured out.

EDIT/PS: I believe that people should post all or most of their secrets and tutorials of things they have discovered. This is a community not a competition.
What if you HLMT swapped so that you could have a Grunt or Anything besides Spartans and Elite? Would that work?

it's easier to make a plugin for GG's chunk adder and add it to the bipeds you wanted.

just to let you know, this was harder than it looked. it took me a while to get the monitor pics right because of the cords and because injecting something kept on ruining the attachment

You shouldn't change anything except the X, Y, and Z values, not the U, V, and W ones in the mode tag.

Ok. It does it wrong. Do not change the UVW values.
