Skinning

can someone help me with photoshop/skinning?

I'm a complete noob, I know nothing about it, but I really wanna skin/make sigs/all that cool stuff...

I'm willing to try and learn from anyone. I looked at a few tuts and what not but it's pretty complicated to me.
