A new Mass mailer worm is on the loose.
I forget what it does though.
Here is its form in email.
From: "Microsoft" <[email protected]>
To: <insert email here>
Subject: Subject: Use this patch immediately!
Message: Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
More than 500.000 already infected!

This also comes with an attachment.

Attachment: Patch.exe

Whatever you do, do not, i repeat do not use that program, it is a trick.
Microsoft never sends attachments.
If you do recieve this, and have opened the attachment, your computer is at risk and should consult Microsoft for help.

This kind of virus's email has been altered to look like Microsoft Support.

I can't believe people fall for these email things, they are so obvious... i never open attachments that i get unless i know what they are and why they have been sent.

well duh, and if you have a good virus scanner it will scan the email when it comes in, and it will warn you.

well... yeh...microsoft never sends emails unless they are advertising....they just ask u to go to their critical update pade and they give u the patch there....

yeah, also, people who want to give you a virus can somehow mimic somebody you know and send you a file

Yeah but the stuff they put in the email is always crap anyway, and you should only open it if the person has said they are gonna send it...

good...there have been 14 new widespread viruses....i know the source code for 2 of em....they are not pretty...one is like loveletter but after sending the mail it delets evrything on ur HD.....the writer's of these things have no fuckin life...

yeh...it is funny to make vbs programs that freak teh user out and shut down their computer as a joke...I did that to my mom....she got really pissed....

yeh...kinda...like it says it is deleting your files...theyy get all scared when there computer is forced to shutdown by vbs commands...they turn it back on and nothing happens....

Heh, well i have almost finished 1, and making another.

The first one says that there are missing country files in Windows, you can't close it and CTRL+ALT+DELETE continues it. It then runs tests, the last one fails, and that's panic time, it then pretends to delete the C: drive.

Another is where every second, 2 pop ups of Bill Gates laughing appear.
Heh...not released em yet, will do sometime. Gotta make HTFOR at the moment.
