Basic Modding Stuff for Halo Trial

Okay, in my Computer Programming class, there's a few of us that play Halo Trial when we're finished with our work. Anyway, Blood Gulch is SUPER boring now, and we want to spice some things up with mods. Anyway, I have experience modding Halo 2 maps, but I have no idea on what program I need to use to mod Halo PC maps, or apply patches to them. Also, can regular blood gulch mods be applied to the trial version?

1. nope, normal mods for halopc full version cannot be applied to trial version
2. you need HMT, HHT, sparkedit, ppf-o-matic, ppf studio

find all the tools you need here, find the patch for bloodgulch to work with sparkedit here
