I prefer your orb one mainly for the colours but this one is alright to.
Maybe a little to much steel/grey in my opinion.

Dude I love the text because it's werid! Add some orbs in the circles and give it almost a glass looking finish.

No Hyperdash, I wasn't saying the opposite of you on purpose. To be honest, I usually don't read all of the posts in a signature thread. And I didn't even read yours. But seriously, from a designer's perspective, the text isn't good.

so what do you recommend from a designer's POV? I was trying to go for an etched in look.

Well I like the engraved effect you did with the text, yet the font is a bad choice. Also, try giving the green circles some kind of an inner shadow, to make it look like the backround is passed the metal interface. Right now it's a little flat. Make it look like you need to travel through the holes a little to get to the backround. Also, maybe a little more shine to the interface. I'm liking it though. The colors work pretty well.
