SOCCER IS THE BEST. Now im not saying football isnt manly. I played it at school and its pretty hard. I think siccer is harder. Look at the comparisons.
Football:Quarters, 15 mins=60 mins 3 breaks
Soccer:Halfs 45 mins=90 mins 1 break

Football:Play-10-15 seconds
Soccer:Play-Forwards 30 seconds+ Mids+All the time Defense 2 mins+

Football:In professionals they have like 10000 commercials to rest.
Soccer:Only a few

Football:3 timeouts
Soccer:0

Football:Like 100 players on the sideline
Soccer:17 subs max.

Football:If you play lineman, sry but not really skill. Recievers,QB,TE needskill
Soccer:Everyone needs skill

Football:like 9 refs
Soccer:3 Refs

Football:Full contact but no pads.
Soccer:Leg contact.

Football is longer than soccer, the clock isn't constantly moving. The clock stops many times due to incomplete passes, runs out of bounds, timeouts, and more.

Football has more commercials because it is watched way more than soccer.

You've got to have timeouts in football. You can't really come back in soccer like you can in football. Timeouts are the one thing that football can't live without.

100 players because people get hurt more often. They have to have 1 or 2 subs for every position. Because if 2 of them get hurt, you can't have a sub there that plays somewhere else. Because if that person that he will have to sub gets injured, the whole team will fall.

Linemen do most of the sacks, and alot of interceptions. You've got to have skill to play anywhere on the field. If you didn't have skill, why didn't USC or Tennesee pick a bad lineman instead of a good one? It does matter.

More penalties in football. Penalties can effect a game badly. Like how Alabama's Prothro broke his leg in 2 places, thanks to the Florida safety with major pass interference.

Full contact is better IMO. Gotta be tough to play it. You can take your anger out on some idiot on the field by plowing him into the ground. And you do have pads in football -.-

Sorry buddy, but soccer isn't the only sport that takes skill. Being a lineman is one of the toughest jobs. You might not think so because you haven't played as one, I have. It is very hard since when your on offense, you have to block 1-2 guys at a time to make sure they don't get to the QB/RB/WR (only on reverses). Plus, on run plays you have to actually block a certain way to make sure the RB can run through. Also, defense is hard too since you have to get passed them. Not to mention the TE's and the FB that are trying to block you as well.

Amen! And in soccer... the goalie doesn't really need skill, all he does is block the ball...

^^See how twisted that sounds? Linemen need more skill than a TE, and sometimes, a Wide Receiver.
