ok ya i have photoshop cs2 9.0 and there is no nvtools or whatever under filter. Anyone know why?

just google it and download the installer. once you install the nvidia plugin, it will appear. you don't really need to use the normal map though, i just do it with the regular bump map (unless it's the chief). i make a plane and apply the texture that i want. also, i apply the map-scaler modifyer to the plane to correctly scale the texture

select the model parts and hit Alt+X
its called see-thru mode

I have a problem, when I open the bump map in photoshop it looks like garbage, like extreemly los res and deformed, I dont know why, i used that plugin and that ch2r but it didnt help, it opens but it looks like garbage

Hey, I'm lazy. Could anyone send me the finished thing w/textures and all of Master Chief, Marines, and the Elite? I suck at 3DS Max so I don't even think I could follow that tutorial.

i was trying to do this tutorial and i was wondering wut A.D.I meant(is it like a file download)cuz when i click on it, it brings me to microsoft.com so can you hook me up with an answer on that.....OH YEAH AND GOOD SHIT ON THE RENDERS!!!

Hey guys sorry to be a shithead and bother you but my bump maps don't seem to be exporting correctly.

Just look for yourself. There's something wrong with it. If anyone knows whats wrong with it and could give me some advice on how to fix it that would be awesome. Thanks.

Btw just so you know i have the latest version of Ch2r, i have Photoshop CS and i have the latest dds and normal map plugin off the nvidia developer site.

i also had that problem when i first started out. i went back into rossgemuend's thread "halo 2 rendering made easy" and redownloaded the right stuff. its a problem with the DDS plugin you're using. dl the one from his thread and your problem will be solved
