ok look the whole thing to modding is the allowing of FTP to your box it ummm ok it makes like a ip to your xbox so you can send stuff to it and take stuff out and it lets you use some "special" bios that enables all the "special" programs that make your xbox "special" dont ask how to get those special things here go to xbox-scene.com now please can we get back on topic

Hard Mods come with a switch, and my hard mod came with a dual boot feature, that i believe you can't do on a regular one, and softmod, i believe you need a switch for it, with my brothers tsop flashed xbox needs a swith to go on live.

HEY..... WHY DOESN'T THE DOWNLOAD WORK!!!! where am i supposed to save the file to.... i saved it to the desktop and it showed it as an internet file..... and then it wouldn't even pop up to display whatever was in the file...... what do i freaking do!

OK....but i'm not doing that.... i'm wanting to know how to get the thing to work properly..... i can't get the program to start up..... i need to know where to save it too.... and what i need to do in order to get the stupid thing to run right!

u need izarc or winace.

search for izarc.org i think

download that and open the file with that then extract all that stuff

thank you a lot !!!!! i have always wanted to mod but couldn't find anything to do it with....thanks for the info on why the download things don't work>...... i will try it and see if it works!

um...but what does the 9x thing mean..... 98,95, what!? because i have a 98 and i downloaded it..... but it keeps saying that it is performing an illegal operation....(doesn't every one just frucking hate that) but it still runs as long as i don't click anything on the "illegal operation" window...... i just wanted to let you know so that if there was somthing that i should have did.....you could tell me.....!

and another thing..... your idea worked.... i can run the stuff now....but is the explainations in the files for a person with a modchip...... or a softmodded.....because i haven't got either...but i'm getting the stuff to softmod...... and the explainations are kinda confusing......... because my ip address is set to automatic.....should i change that ...?????? if so....give me some advise on how you put one in so that the computer can detect it....

and the coreftp or what ever isn't working..... it keeps saying....

and the sig encrypter.... it needs a new version of that .net framwork thing....... it somthing like needing v.2.somthin.somthin.somthin...... i can't rememer the rest...but anyway....if you could be so kind as to put a link in your next message so that i could get the newer version!

use teh softmod to find your ipaddress on your xbox. yea sig encyrptor does need .net framework 2.0. the coreftp errors ae b/c of your computer
