Yes, softmodding can do anything a chipped box can do. But something's are a bit harder to do on a softmodded one than a chipped.

Don't mean to revive an old thread, but I have a few examples...

I have a softmodded & chipped box...

First off though, a Softmodded box normally doesn't have as much space as a chipped box, if using the stock HDD that came with the XBox, so you may have to decide, either to put Halo2 multiplayer on there, & put another game or two on your box, or all halo2, & no extra space...

Secondly, a chipped box has an F: Drive where softmodded does not..
