other moddeling programs...

Post by andrewtheactorman »

Is MilkShape the only thing that is really usable for it? I have tryed programs like Cinema 4D and exporting the editted model as an OBJ file like in MilkShape, but it doesn't load. It says it has more vertices than before; and I havent even added any. I just resized the whole model.

I just can't stand MilkShape, thats why I'm wondering. I'd rather model with something I'm used to.

Sorry, Ive never used it, but is there a way to get it so that there isnt to many vertices or something in MilkShape? Ive tried it a million times and I could never seem to get the right vertices. One of my friends managed to model the AR but he said he has no idea how it worked and he could never do it again.
Thanks for any help, Craig

I'm surprised none of you guys suggested 3d Studio Max...

As a side note, C4d is an excellent modeling program. Contact Waverunner, he does a lot of model and render work with Cinema 4d.

3ds cant model obj files

and to model the only tools you can use are move, rotate, and scale
