Adding symbol behind name (in background) how to?

Hello,

I was playing xlink the other night and I saw some people with a round circle icon repeating, behind their name (Before the game starts in the lobby where you cahnge the game options).

How do you do that?

It's happened a few times to me and Exile when we play xbc and I think it has to do with the AU. If I have mine off and he has his on, then the default symbols appear throughout the name in the pregame lobby.
But he insists that it's 'xbl flagging'.

I was in that game with you. rember the blue guy called marku2? that was me. Ya I rember seeing the default symbols behind the guys name. You kept asking then he said I dont know and left. It was the mods and hacks section. I was gonna post a topic on help to find out how he did it... owell

Yeah i want to know this 2, but every time i ask some1 on xbc who has it how they did it they say "magic" or they just leave the game

id like to try and figure that out, if 1 of you can get a screenshot of it, even if its a crappy digital camera screenshot, that would be cool, I dont have live so i have no idea how it might look.

i am pretty sure that the default symbols behind their name is showing other players that they have mods. They get it by going on xbox live and getting caught modding.
(This is only what i think based on a few peoples thoughts)

if thats how maybe some1 with a profile thats been flagged by xbl could post it nad we just edit the name using sav3r

No it's the AU. Me and my friend play all the time and we get this. I can't remember which is which. I think if a person had v1 and you have v1.1 you see the symbols. Because he has v1.1 and I use the Halo 2 launcher.

I ve seen the symbols behind names before on xbc. When i asked the kid, he says that u need a prog. to do it.

If you want to mod you need a program too ...
Kinda logic , but what program then ..
