Renaming weapons?

Renaming weapons?

Sorry im new to modding, but how do i change the name of multiplayer weapons? Like to rename the pistol to a 9mm?

go into a hex editor and search for magnum and where it says "press to pick up magnum" change magnum to 9mm and also where it says "picked up ammo for magnum."
