did you look in the utilities section of the files forum? there are a few things there.

You don't add and duplicate stuff with hex editing. You use HMT and Sparkedit for those things. HMT for adding things and sparkedit for placing those added things and duplicationg things.

As for the controls - they are pretty self explanatory. Just fool around with it and you should get the hang of it!
