FTP plz help

Can some one tell me why when i conect to my xbox with ftp it wont let me upload to it or make new folders, notihng

we need more info
1)is your box modded?
2)if so, what dashboard are you using?
3)what are your dashboard settings?
4)what ftp program are you using?

1) yes
2) EvoX
3) Um?
4) Flashxp and SmartFTP (tried both)
