you cant just delete the faces for the ejection port, that leaves open edges, and a really messy model

it doesnt matter if theres open edges...u can just make a box that covers all of the wepaon for a collision-model...the model it self can have alot of errors...

i have a usp airsoft gun, i never bothered to look how real lookin it was, but damn! lol it looks exactly the same, oh and great model, lol jk, just out of curiosity what method did you use to make the safety and slide lock? it looks like box modeling, which is probably not the best way, but if you are going to make youre extrusions small and keep making them smaller, and it will look great, dont forget the notches in the slide as well, it will deffinately add some realism., if you really want to be original add the tomb raider barrel extender....

I think the concern is how it looks, not how it collides. And you can leave some open edges for the fp model, as long as they can't see it. Nice gun, by the way. A texture would do wonders for it.
