Why can Marines drive ghosts but not hogs?

Just wondering. In AOTCR, Marines can get in ghosts, but not drive hogs. Dunno why.

probably didnt have time to make the ai be able to do it is all, its not that it wasnt possible they just didnt get it done like a million other things in halo.

I don't think the Marines are programmed to drive a warthog. But I think yo can make it possible with HMT but I don't know how. Would be cool of they did though! Have your men drive the hog while you shoot some Covenant Ass! WOO HOO! lol!

Nah, it's pretty much impossible to make them do that. The way Ghosts are driven is quite different from hogs. Just image the Marine as a player driving a ghost. With the default FPS controls, he'd be hitting A for the longest time, and the hog wouldn't move, as it can't do completely sideways... unless you slide on a patch of ice, of course.

So, to make it simple -- wait for Halo 2.

I wish they would drive the hog. I always want to use the ghost because I can shoot and I don't have to worry about my gunners getting killed. But I feel obligated to drive the hog, otherwise the marines will die...then I realize it's a game and I kill all of them...

if you all didnt know in HALO 2 marines do drive while you "kick covenant ass"

I've gotten elite on my team, against the marines. The Elite can drive the hog, get in with me (Driver, passenger,gunner) but If I'm driving, they randomly get out of the vehicle. (even while moving

)

Because they did not finish the AI for the wartyhog, it is that simple, but they did in Halo 2, the marines will frive them then...but it is impossable to do it now...
