Ok well I just recently got AR, but I'm not sure where to start to mod halo 2. I also was wondering if I could play halo 2 on my 360 (which is what I've been doing) and mod it there aswell? Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated

You can mod it on your 360, but it's not practical. I would say start small. Check out the Halo 3 tutorials forum.

What if I just wanted to mod the orginal Xbox using AR? What would I do to softmod it?

You do need to softmod, and its very simple to do, ive done it a few times for freinds. Takes no more then 10 mins if you know what your doing. Just search it on yahoo or google and follow the instructions.
