It's an ok start. I'd suggest adding some water to have an actual beach. As for the model, so far so good. Make it look purtier :P . It just seems so bland and boring...

What do you mean by that?

I'd say create more of a slope going up from the beach. For the base models I suggest added a mite more detail since it does looks like a box with holes cut out of it. Also, try and getting in game as the ramps that you climb those bunkers with seem to have a steep angle that I'm not sure MC can climb. As kibito87 said, add some water to the beach. I like the wall separating the two zones, but, like the bunkers, you should add a little bit more detail (I suggest looking at some zanzibar architecture or Last Resort or even High Ground as this seems to be a simple hybrid of those maps).

I think I see some errors on that base to. You should change your map, add sides, one big wall isn't going to be a lot of fun. Add some strategy! The wall had only one entrance, I picture several members lobbing nades and firing heavies into that area preventing any entrance. Of course if you were planing on making a force map that could go well to. By force I mean it requires lots of force and hard play to beat it. Like the tower of power in halo 2 ascension.

Other than that, good job for a first map!

Also: your models seem to be a bunch of primitives and unattached models. you will have to link them to the frame before compiling the map, and brush up on your skills you shouldn't be making things out of primitives. Find some tutorials somewhere, check other threads, I linked to some good tuts on one other topic. The main page of this website has some good tutorials to. Check out the ones by Kirk, he is a good tut maker. By primitives I mean boxes, spheres, cylinders, tubes, and other one click and place objects.
