How to make AI recognise each team player?

Post by dorg »

Hi, I've was experimenting today with some AI on my new map, and wanted to make them as a support feedback for any team. At last to be in defense mode if the oponent team comes closer to any base for instane. I tried different options and the results were selfdestructive. They shoot to any one on there way. How to make them to recognise the each team players?

OK, sorry!
Anyway I fix it. I've tryied to change the color for the marin armored for each team making them slightly reg & blue but with no sucess. Is there any fast way to do that without moding the bitmaps?
Thanks!

Its called Multipurpose Bitmaps.

In order to make a character have certain changeable colors, I believe they must be set to blue. I think thats the color used for making characters change colors.

Im not saying that you should make a blue bitmap and say thats a multipurpose bitmaps, but u need to unfortunately edit the multipurpose bitmaps in order for them to change color. Or use elites, and grunts. They are the only ones that can change color without changing bitmaps, as far as i heard.
