Post by Keeywi »

i try to play a lan game with my friend, and the lan game doesn't show up on the list

one computer is running XP pro

and the other runs XP home

also, when i try to login by direct IP, it gives me an error that says something like 'the client was older than the server' something like that

Yes, you can. I do it all the time. A better idea would to have him rename his halo.exe (or haloce.exe, whatever) to something else and you give him your halo.exe. That way you are both on the same version and both have a no-cd crack.
