Custom info tabs for my custom map ?

Hi, I'm modelin a map with a lot of stuff, and I needed some help: not about the modeling, but for UI representation of the map. How to create some text info & a small thumbnail to be viewed on the map selection tab? I've done a lot of serch about this topic but without results. Any help would be apreciated.
