Ok, so you want to make a speedy warthog eh?
Okay, first make sure you have Halo installed, HMT3.5 and the 60 plugins. Ok?
Once you have those installed make backups of your .map files just incase something goes wrong. Back them up in a folder like mapfiles_original
Now, open up HMT3.5 and press File>Open and select your bloodgulch.map file.
Now you'll see a list of things (I call em tabs) come up. Go/scroll down to the bottom where it says "Vehicle". Click that name. Then a menu will show up to your right. From there you can edit the properties of the warthog.
Max Forward Speed = What is the maximum speed the warthog can travel
Max Reverse Speed = What is the maximum speed the warthog can travel in reverse (it can get very funny if you turn it up too much)
Speed Acceleration = How fast the warthog will reach maximum speed.
Speed De-acceleration = If you let go of your forward key (typically 'W') this value determines how long it will take for the tires to slow down to a halt. Putting this value to high will make your warthogs tires keep spinning even after you'v let go of the acceleration!
You can experiment with other values and see what wacky results (or unwanted results might come up)
Now all you have to do is just press the "Close Map File" button at the bottom left hand corner of the window and *POOF* there you go, your warthogs go alot faster
PS: If anything goes wrong just replace the bloodgulch.map file in your
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\maps
with the one I told you to backup (the original)
Best of Luck
