ok so i got the jms file and its 2kb ok
now i put it in data levels test my map my map.jms
so i run tool++ and select structure
i then get it saying its complete (apart from that toolbeta.map but thats always there right?)

then i look in my folder and theres only the jms file
i then look in my halo ce tags folder and theres not my map in the test folder!!
so whats going wrong?
my jms file has this
Error occurred in getFaceSmoothGroupB()
at the start but then everything else looks ok
so why is this?
so to test i downloaded chimp and it comes witha jms test file so i ran that and again it said it was ok but i couldt find it
so i dont think its my jms file
am i looking in the wrong place
i made a copy of my tags when i got ce and pasted it in so it was called copy of tags.so i tried putting that in buts still no:(

thanks ive been trying for ages!

Maybe you have to put the jms in your models folder of your levels folder.

EDIT: You know what? This might've happened to me too lately. I do something with a file, and then I try to look at it in explorer, but it's not there, but I can see it in the open file window of applications.

For example, I made a gmax map and saved it in a gmax file. When I open the file in gmax, I can see the file once I browse to it in the open window. But when I browse to it in explorer, I can't see it! Hm. Has this happened to anyone else...?

BTW I'm on vista, when I open my level's models folder in explorer, and at the top it says "compatability files", and I press it, and I can see the files, but when I go back to my CE directory, I can only see a few of halo's folders and icons!
