brute shot effect

Post by EchoRanger449 »

I'm trying to create a projectile that will bounce once and will detonate half a second later in midair, just like the actual brute shot. From looking at the plugins. The min velocity, timer 1 and 2, and arm time seem to do nothing in creating a timed detonation after "the first bounce".

Has/will someone create(d) a projectile that bounces and detonates before coming to rest? Grenades with 0 velocities will not help me, however unless I can transfer that effect through a gun.

I've spent a few hours on this making different hypothesis', but none of them will lead me to anything successful. Please test out your ideas before sharing them. Also, I am not interested in using CE to create the projectile and converting and exporting it to PC.

those options work in guerilla, so try making the projectile in CE and converting it to PC?

Well from what I know there is a way to make grenades bounce alot more so you can do that in HMT3.5 + make the velocity alot faster so instead of lobbing grenades you actually shoot them out and finally there is an option in HMT3.5 where you can set the grenade fuse time to start after the grenade comes to a rest or after it touches/bounces off of something. Good Luck :)

So make the grenades shoot out + set the fuse to 1 second + make it start the fuse after it hits an object/the ground
