Taking things from one SP map to another SP map

If I want to take, let's say, a Spec Ops grunt from Two Betrayals, and stick it in Halo, do I need to do the whole PMI procedure or can I just save the meta and inject the meta?
Gained acceptance to Norwich University military college, hopefully riding on a Marine scholarship.

I'm pretty sure you need to go through the whole PMI process.

you would need to switch the actv with the grunt to the specops grunt...or they wont move.
