Halo Trial Mod Question

I had a mod for Bloodgulch that worked fine, but when I went to put the original mapfile back (bloodgulch): it still loaded my modded map even after I deleted all references to the modded map. What gives? I currently rum Vista Home Premium. Does Vista have some software that keeps this in the registry or something?

Any help appreciated....

run halo trial as an administrator

1. right click the halo icon on the desktop
2. click run as administrator.
