Help with New-New Maps
Okay, so whenever I try to download the maps, it starts the download then says the download is complete (orange bar filled). Then it says that installation failed...
So what I have done is select a payment option in the 360 dashboard to a credit card that is valid. Is there anything I'm missing? I really wanna play the maps.
Thanks in advance.

That is not the problem. Hundreds of others have the same issue, me included. It is a server-side problem.

I'd say just stick to monitoring the Xbox.com and Bungie.net forums, possibly Major Nelson's blog and see if there is any official word.
This seems to be an overwhelming problem.

My friend had the same problem and he and I were just retrying it a bit, then it decided to go a few seconds ago. I didn't exit the content downloader, reboot, or change anything. I just waited a bit (5-10 min) then tried and it worked.

Aparently, bungie didn't..."fully"...test their own update. The new AU caused the Content Downloader to screw up and for many, even myself, to claim "your download content is currupt" even though it works fine before the update.
Anyway Bungie was made aware of the issue by hundreds of complaining posts by users claiming the problem with the Maptacular map pack becoming corrupt and then denying them access to download that very content in the content downloader. These reports were served up by people with both 360's and standard xboxs alike. Bungie then later on released a fix allowing the re-downloading of the content.
I didn't think Bungie would cut corners with testing this update.
