ok so i just downloaded a mod for halo pc, now how do i use it?

paste it in
C:>program files>microsoft games>halo>maps

ok, well i'm about to paste it but when i go to the halo folder the only thing thats there is saved games and profiles, no maps.

my harddrive was just erased, do i need to beat the campaign before i can mod?

nope. Modding has nothing to do with campaign. The problem is that you went to your documents instead of where u installed halo. Most people probably installed it in there programs files in their c drive but other people like me might have installed it to their desktop for easy use. So find the halo folder and if there isn't a maps folder in it then there is something wrong with your computer.
