Ok, I was tired of not being able to join people's game when I had my auto-update off because of lockout being lame. And so I tried to add lockout to my MainMenu, and it still wouldn't let me join their party because only I had the added map. So, I came up with this fix for it. When you look at the mainmenu, disregard the first lockout. As of right now, there is no way to remove it. You will always have to use the 2nd one if your AU is off. Now, this works joining a game too! :P

Anyways, to sum it up, you can host lockout and join lockout with your AU off.

Patch below.

actually, to fix the problem with lockout not working, just make sure to rename both the $c and $u folders. If you just rename the $u folder, you will have that problem.

yeah, this is kinda pointless, but nice try. renaming a folder is alot easier than down loading/patching/ftping and all that shit. maybe next time buddy.

Your right.

You need to rebuild the content packages without the patch.lvl file.

Actually this would be easier at times because if you are using Yelo or something that auto disables the update, this would work better than renaming it and all that jazz.
