disc error

hi guys. alright, i thought that you couldnt edit the actual halo 2 disk itself, but apparently u can, because the other night i tried to play lockout OFF THE DISK and for some reason i got the failed to load map error. if anyone knows the problem, plz respond

No, It's not possible. Your disc may be scratched. It happened to me, I can't play Outskirts because of that.

o. but thats weird tho, cuz then when i played, wouldnt the map that doesnt load change everytime randomly, like from ascension to coag, or sumtin like that, becuz y would it only b fur that specific map

The scratch on a disk stays where it is. The scratch doesn't move from one part of a burned binary chunk to another. KNOW YOUR PHYSICS!
